CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Eight Pagans Motorcycle Club bikers have pleaded not guilty to charges in a sweeping federal racketeering indictment.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Mary Stanley ordered three of the men released on bond Wednesday. Court records show she ordered five others held pending hearings.
All are charged in a 44-count indictment that portrays the Pagans as a sprawling organization engaged in kidnapping, robbery, extortion, conspiracy to commit murder and other crimes in an effort to be the pre-eminent biker gang in the eastern United States.
In all, 55 Pagans and associates from West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida face charges. Their trial is scheduled for Dec. 15.

That there is a motorcycle gang that calls itself the Pagans Motorcycle Club.
Whats your point??? Want me to point out how many professed Christians are in jail for crimes?
Give your answer to this question below!
My intake is a supercharger.
It’s America, and in America everyone plays by American law, no-matter what religion you are.
I bet ya more than 10 times as many christians get arrested daily.
Why do this insist on calling them out for what they believe? There are corrupt members of EVERY religion.
I wish they’d chosen a different name for their club. I doubt there’s an actual Pagan among them.
Am I to be surprised that members of a biker gang have gotten in trouble with the law?
It doesn’t actually say that they’re actually pagans.
Some members of a motorcycle club (gang) were arrested. Big surprise.
It’s the name of a motorcycle gang. They’re not pagan religion-wise.
You are right! The Hells Angels are so terrible. That means we should ban angels from America!
My take is that they’ve pleaded “not guilty”–now it’s time for due process to take it’s course?
Why is this in R&S
they make nice pagans look bad.
Pagans is the name of a motorcycle club. So is Hell’s Angels. Doesn’t mean the members are all pagan, most of them probably call themselves christians. The Duke University basketball team is call the Blue Devils. None of them are blue and I don’t think any of them are devils. Same difference. A lot of the neo-Nazi white supremacy groups call themselves “christian”. Does that make them good guys?
My Intake is just lightening-up on carbs, reduce fat and consume more fruit and veggies
Pagans are bad*ss bikers. What’s your point? And why is this in R&S?
What of it? It’s simply the name of a biker gang.
my first reaction is:
Why would this be on the religion and spirituality board?
