you are right about sound waves people say that a good joke will make you laugh but prayer works with sound waves like if you hear someone laughing you auto smile without knowing why or you hear a person cry you get a feeling in your gut without knowing where this came from pprayer,meditation,lafter,crying,and screaming all cause physical changes in body and enviroment
