Shamanism and Shinto are part of the “natural” human religion, so they don´t so much have a founder as a gradual dawning realisation of kami, mana or whatever you want to call it. The first Dalai Lama was Gedun Drupa, born in 1391. It´s possible that there are creation myths or something similar with some forms of shamanism which attribute its beginning to a particular traditional figure.
Shinto no founder could be thought of as Amaterasu, but that would be a little like saying the first member of our (England) royal family was Woden, which is in fact what Anglo-Saxon myths claim. Then again, you could say that Asatru was originally founded by Woden when he hung upside down on Yggdrasil for nine days and took the Mead of Inspiration.
