Question by fiction118: A book over the history of divination?
I’m doing a project over the history of divination. I’m trying to find a book that covers the history of things like the ouija board, tarot cards, astrology, and any other ways of divination. If you know of any with all of that in there, that would be really great. Thanks!

You won’t find a single book, given that Ouija boards, Tarot cards and astrology are different things. Ouija boards are games, designed for the purpose of speaking to ‘spirits or the dead’. Tarot cards is the ability to get an idea of what your near/far future will be like through cards. Finally, Astrology is the studying of the stars and planets to tell how certain people are, behave, or how their very near future will be.
The only ‘book’ that would have all of them in is; the Internet.

Generally speaking if you look at almost any book on Wicca and/or Paganism, you’ll come across some small references to each of these. However, for in depth information, you’ll probably need to look at each as an individual.
Edit: Also, if you were looking into any other forms of divination, runes are good…oracle cards which are similar to tarot cards…scrying and dream interpretation are other good things to look at. Just some thoughts!
