need to be a well rounded individual, and not just a pretty face. Gone are the days when all you needed was to be 6′ tall, 110 pounds, and have a plastic face. They want to see women that are competitive, involved in sports, a good academic background, and be able to carry themselves with grace.
You really need to make sure your are not overly confident, as many judges can see right through this. Most of the characters that make it onto Americas Next Top Model are simple women with a unique background.
