Babaji Kriya Yoga Secrets 2 – Science and Spirituality Converge
PublishedAugust 1, 2010
HAMSA-YOGA.ORG for more. Kriya Yoga is not a religion. It is the science of the soul. The technique is composed of spinal breathing, magnetic oxidation which causes the electrical flow of prana to reverse itself into the river of the spinal cord and regain its divine essence. Kriya yoga utilizes positive light energy growth for spiritual evolution of consciousness. Yogiraj is a living master and solar seer, and helps sincere practitioners of yogic meditation awaken to higher levels of consciousness through chakra awakening and esoteric practices of Himalayan yoga. Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath was born on May 10, 1944 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has been meditating since the age of 3, and spent his early years in the Himalayas amongst the HamsaNath yogis, in whose presence he was transformed. The divine transformation flowered after his deep and personal experiences in 1961 and 1967 with the yogi-christ Mahavatar Shiv-Goraksha-Babaji, the same spiritual master described in Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi. He has a wife of 30+ years, Gurumata Shivangani, with whom he built by hand the Hamsa Yoga Sangh Ashram (Spiritual Retreat) outside the city of Pune, near Bombay, India. They have two sons, and two grandchildren. Yogiraj teaches yogic meditation for the evolution of human consciousness. These perennial practices of yoga are the most ancient closely guarded sacred practices of the Himalayan yogis and masters from time immemorial. They help the practitioner …
A talk by Khurshed Batliwala, director of World Alliance for Youth Empowerment at Ruia College, Mumbai. With a post graduate in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Khurshed Batliwala, or Bawa as he is fondly known (a nick name that has stuck from his IIT days) is an extraordinary personality. In his own words, he decided it was better to teach people meditation and make them happy rather than teach them mathematics and make them miserable and thus chose the unconventional and challenging career path as a faculty member of the Art of Living, sharing the vision of its founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, which is to see a smile on every face on the planet. bawandinesh.name

I loved you for your presentation….. Million thanks for the light of Knowledge from the bottom of my heart. Million thanks for being the source of light. OHM TAT SAT
@aurorion1618 Khurshed Batliwala is not an astronomer nor does he claim to know a lot about astrology. The fact is, thousands of years ago the ancient rishis could identify two tiny spots on the sky as a twin star system. Yes, these are facts taken from ancient texts, but hardly any people in the audience knew these facts.
Firstly, I don’t think that’s the point Batliwala was trying to make.
Secondly, these two stars are actually visible separately, to the naked eye. At least for people with good eye-sight. They are not too far away? – just 78 light yrs away from Earth, and they are 3 light yrs apart from each other. Many ancient cultures knew this – and in fact, some ancients like Arabs used? to use this as a test of warriors’ eye-sight.
Once you take out the false superlatives from his interpretations, they are no longer as unbelievably-shockingly-spectacularly-awesome as this guy is trying to make them out to be. Impressive, yes. But there’s nothing unreal about this.
Yep, they definitely did a “pretty amazing job”! I am not disputing that. My point is just that it’s not really as big a deal as it’s being described in this video. This guy is taking some random statements from ancient texts, interpreting them in a very subjective way, to make them sound as if they are in some way special – I mean, more special than your regular garden-variety ancient texts. 🙂
@aurorion1618: And yes you’re right – all twin star systems rotate around the common center of mass, similar to that shown for Arundhati-Vashishta. But again the point here is how the heck did they figure out that a point of light in the sky is actually a binary star system – thousands of years ago without so much as a telescope? That’s a pretty amazing accomplishment even by today’s standards. By all other accounts, “double stars” were only discovered after the telescope arrived in the 1600s.
@aurorion1618: do you have a degree in nitpicking?
Yes, betelgeuse is a larger visible star, and the ancients did know it as Ardra. So what? The point he is trying to make in the video, is that it’s amazing that the ancients could know that a point of light in the sky called Antares is so huge! It’s currently the 10th largest star known to man. Even if they weren’t super-accurate at celestial size estimation, they did a pretty amazing job with whatever abilities/resources they had back then 🙂
I guess you are a worshiper of this crackpot Batiwala? Sorry for hurting your feelings. 😛
Antares is NOT the biggest “visible star” to the naked eye. There are others that are bigger. For example: Betelgeuse, which was known to “the ancients” in India as “Ardra”. Or Mu Cephei, which is almost TWICE the size of Antares; also visible to the naked eye.
This kind of pwnage happens if you are an ignorant follower of these crackpots. So, stop worshiping these idiots and go to school!
Dimwit, the point is that the ancients figured Antares to the biggest ‘VISIBLE STAR’ even though it ranked 16th on the brightness scale. We are not talking about all the stars in the universe, just those that can be seen without a telescope. Off course, you take a telescope and you see many more stars than u can see with naked eye, and out of all those new stars u see, some may be bigger than the biggest u cud see with ur eyes. Got it, numbnuts.
2. “Arundhati Vasishta”: “Most twin star systems rotate like this: like one star is in the middle, and the other star is going around it….But Arundhati Vasishta moves like that”
Bullshit. No twin star system orbits like the usual way he says. In every twin star systems, both stars revolve around the common center of mass. In other words, EVERY twin star system’s orbit is somewhat like what is shown for “Arundhati Vasishta” here.
1. “Why would they call the 15th brightest object – meaning there are many more brighter objects than this star in the sky – why would they call it the biggest?….Turns out they were right. It is 40,000 times bigger than our sun; in fact it is one of the biggest objects known to man.”
The radius of Antares is just 800 times that of the sun. It is NOT the biggest known star, there are many other known stars that are bigger.
if only they teach us in school..atleast in india..im surprised these ppl so gone backward that they’r not teaching their own treasure of knowledge and praising somebody elses’ work..even though its been 60 yrs of independent, we still r mentaly slaves of west..
Good info.. thanks for sharing this..The things mentioned that we discovered zinc and other things some 4000 years ago is great but we had this information for such a long time and yet we didnt shared it with others across the globe.. Time is changing and we should not keep secrets of our success stories anymore.. the fun is in sharing the wealth of knowledge that we possess hope we all also learn this thing which all or our great great ancestors missed out…
Never knew that we are so damm Rich in terms of knowledge. I would to know more such things and would love to share to others. On which site can i find such things ??

@aurorion1618 For people like you it may not be shocking. It is definitely not unreal, but many of the youth today hardly know these facts.
