Question by kingdomsower: Can anyone suggest a serious online forum dealing with religion & spirituality?
So many, if not most, of the questions and answers the the Religion & Spirituality section of Yahoo! Answers are entertaining & absurd. Other than being entertained, is anyone really benefited? If anyone can knows of a forum of serious discussions, it would be good to know.

What do you think? Answer below!
What? You don’t consider YA! to be a serious online forum?
I think you will be happy here: http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/;_ylt=AmkXDvaMa2HBjbxsh9ptGg7b7BR.;_ylv=3?link=list&sid=396545163
EDIT: Zombie Captain makes an excellent point.
If you have a serious question, why not ask it here? There are plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum.
Hate to break it to you… but religion IS absurd.
That’s the inherent problem.
I was a member of christianet.com where I met my wife. If people talk vulgar or obscene then they will be kicked off the sight.
They have a nice chat room and you can send email back and forth within that sight. I wouldn’t be giving out your reg. e-mail address to anyone on it as there are some people that are there trying to get money. But there are serious ones also. You can ask questions, answer questions or just talk about anything as long as it is within the guide lines.
Hope this helps and have a Blessed Day.
You may want to check out Meta Pleroma (link provided below). I hope this helps. Good luck in your search!
If you find one please let the few on this site know that are serious. This is definitely not the place. Most people are just silly or being obnoxious on this site, I have found. I would love to know if you come across any sites that fit your description.
But yeah, there are a few who have benefited and a few who are beneficial on this site. You just have to hunt through all the garbage to find them.
Most denominations of Christianity and other religions have chat rooms and serious discussion sites. Search on the internet and thee shall find.
It all depends what your religious presuppositions are. There are literally dozens of them, but you could try this one:
