If it stated what you say it is than it is wrong. I think your just misguided and ill informed … most likely you only heard from this channel what you wanted to hear not what was being said… I advise that you do more than hear but listen when you are being told your history.
My question to you is why would you follow a religion just because of the rewards it brings you. I for one value my soul far too much to surrender it to for a bribe.
