From involvement springs attachment, and from attachment arises bondage. That is how the being of man is roped into bondage by the action of the ego in attaching itself to the objects of life with proprietorship claims. The release can come only when with the dawn of knowledge man realizes that he has no real claim on anything in the world, and that his natural stat is one for freedom from all involvement. It is ignorance that makes him identify himself with objects and suffer relations which holds him captive.”
