Question by butterstixies: Did Sting (The Police) have anything to do with crowley/tarot/occult?
I’ve read some stuff on the internet and apparently he has some fascination with tarot cards? I can’t really find much about this except he supposedly has a cd (for the computer?) and there’s images of tarot cards?
Also, I’ve read he’s read aleister crowley’s stuff. Though I really doubt it, there’s only some web pages that say he does but it’s all copy and paste: “Sting, formerly of the Police, has spent many hours studying Crowley’s writings”
(Every site says this exact same thing). So I’ve decided that the crowley claim is total bull, but it’s weird how it would appear so frequently…

I highly doubt he had more than a passing intrest in anything like that. Gordon Sumner( Sting’s real name) was a school teacher prior to Stewart Copeland convincing him to get in to music.
