Give your answer to this question below!
If by metaphysical you mean an idea of a better world, then sure ideas of better worlds exist. If by metaphysical you mean physical realities that are unreachable by us, then no. If they are unattainable actualities for our world in the condition that they are presented in and there is no possible way for them to become reality, or no good schedule or directions to follow to get there, then they are irrelevant. It’s like following someone in a dark cave that’s 5 miles long with no lights and they promise a better world on the other side.
This world is only an imperfect version of one’s idea of what a perfect world should be if that idea of a perfect world does not include the world as it is.
Yes I do.

I thought I was original in my thought that ideas could exist independent from man. But it turns out Plato thought this already thousands of years ago.
For it is known that a teacher can transfer her knowledge as thought to her students. A memory of a person can be passed to another person. New ideas and concepts can pass from one person to another. Whether they be religious, educational, biological, whatever.
But ideas do not exist in the physical world. Yet the mind of man can grasp these intangible ideas freely without any effort. It is as effortless as one hearing and accepting a new song that they think of as their favorite one.
But man can think of ideas that existed long before he even came into being. Like the dinosaurs, or how the stars were formed, or how the universe was formed, or even how it began. Ideas can be true or false depending on how one sees the world.
And ideas are what cause leaders of countries and every person to behave the way they do. Man is effected by what is in his mind and heart.
So yes, I do agree with Plato and his metaphysical world concept and its impact on the religious view even about the existence of heaven.
Take care.
