That’s what most Muslim countries do because it’s part of their Islamic culture. The Muslims have a big problem with expressing sexuality and they force their women to cover up. Even the men have to dress “modest”. This denial in human sexuality has extremely negative results in their mental, social and every aspect of life.
For example it’s causing sexual frustration and as a result they behave to western women with disrespect (because they consider them easy – easier to their women which deny their sexuality). Also, once a western woman makes the mistake to marry a Muslim, he will start behaving to her with a lot of jealousy and make her life miserable because he will not feeling safe with her sexuality unless he hijabize her and lock her home.
In social life is causing to men a racist division to, two kinds women, the Muslim and the non Muslim. To the Muslim they behave with some kind of modesty while to the non Muslim they can be very cruel. In Turkey for example, many non Muslim women have been kidnapped, abused and forced to work as prostitutes against their will. In this forum alone there are always questions about tourist women who have been sexually harassed and reports about rapes of western women in Turkey are often.
This denial in sexuality it’s causing depression to the Muslim women and as a result it’s making them spending many hours in internet forums or other meaningless activities.
In political life, all those sexual complexes in Islam, are causing a tendency to extreme political ideas such as radical Islam or Kemalism.
