Question by MY TWO CENTS: Do you still believe Magic johnson has HIV/ Aids ?
I did not believe it nearly 20 years ago and I don’t believe it to this day. i believe he is lying to take the heat off him from his wife and the public after his MANY sexual liaisons.

Yes. Did you know that he wasn’t called “Magic” until I had relations with him? Then he changed it to honor that he lost his virginity to me.
He said last year that a test revealed he has nothing in his blood anymore that indicates he has HIV…. So yes I believe him, but no he does not have HIV or AIDS.
That’s a good food for thought. Cause it amazes me how this guy is still alive thriving and looking healthier as ever.. Another thing that boggles my mind is how come his wife didn’t get AIDS from him or her baby…. She she was pregnant when he came out publicly,….

That said, the boxer Tommy Morrison (I believe that is his name; he was in Rocky IV) had his career cut short due to a false AIDS test.
Maybe some people can contract the virus and beat it?
He’s able to afford the medication needed to keep his HIV in check. His medication has prevented him from getting AIDS.

i think he has the money to spend on the needed medications. i remember having this very discussion in school and the cost per year for all the meds he would have to be taking is extremely high. not many could afford such treatment.
and what one said about some being able to beat it.. maybe. but it is proven that some people are actually immune -though it is a very small percentage of people.

Admitting to having HIV did not take off any heat, he lived a risky lifestyle and paid the price.
Just because the virus is not at detectable levels does not mean he is cured. Unlike many others that are infected, Johnson has access to the newest antiviral drugs. He was also infected years ago before the more drug resistant strains evolved.
Red is right. There is no cure, but with the “cocktail” of drugs, they can control it. I love conspiracy theorists. You must love that nitwit running for Senator in Texas who thinks the US blew up the World Trade Center.
