I seem to recall someone died. I know he got those bloody noses.

I don;t think so, but it’s been awhile since I’ve seen it. It’s a great movie though, anyone who is/was a high school wrestler can attest that it hits everything pretty much right on the head. I was even a room service worker at a hotel during the season just like he was.

Nobody died. Maybe you mistook another movie for it. It was one of my ‘feel-good’ movies of the 80’s when “Crazy For You” was still fresh and Linda Fiorentino was hotter.
