@yetimach While you feel you haven’t awakened yet the very recognition that there is such a state of mind suggests the process has begun. Many people can not awaken because they do not know they are asleep, spiritually speaking. Follow his teachings and the awakening will deepen of it’s own volition without any effort on your part. I have an unwavering belief in this happening for you because it happened for me.
That is such a true statement by Tolle, “when someone spends their whole life in one particular culture they get conditioned by it whether they know it or not.” A good tip on “awakening” would be to get away from “the system” for awhile. Go spend time in other cultures that are considered “bad” and see if you can enjoy it. If you can’t, well, you will be forced to do things like “be still” and a “forced” awakening should happen.
YES, there is a lot of power in stillness. When you become still and intensily aware, the awareness seems to burn up all thoughts and make them dissolve immediately. What is left, is pure bliss and deep peace.
Does anybody know who the interviewer is? She sound as if she is danish…And where is the interview taken place?

This is kind of tripping me out because I stopped going to school regularly at 13 and studied various things on my own. I loved astronomy. Then I became interested in languages and literature and managed to get to university to study them. I have worked for about 6 years as an English and Spanish teacher (not German : ) I never knew I have so much in common with Mr. Tolle. It’s too bad I can’t say I’ve really awakened yet. But I’m 29 right now… And I guess there is hope. Felt like sharing!

Is Tolle’s spiritual experience repeatable for anyone? Or, will it prove to remain his alone?
he is so awesome. he’s so chillaxed. he has such presence you know. the world can learn so much from him. i love a new earth its my favourite.
