Fun Places To Go After The Prom To Avoid Being In A Sex Situation
Most teens relate the idea of sex and prom. If you are hoping to avoid the pitfalls that this often has, one of the best things you can do is to plan your after prom in such a way as to ensure there is no problem. In other words, find things to do and places to go that are not likely to lead to a sexual encounter. Just because you do not want to have sex after your prom night does not mean you cannot have a lot of fun on this night. Here are some ideas.
One idea is to do what your school is doing! Many of the high schools will host after prom activities. These may be simple evenings such as having everyone come together for yet another party. They may have a variety of activities, food, and dancing. After prom activities are far less stressful and formal than the event itself. They are a time to “party” without the threat of alcohol or sex. Most of them go well into the night, even as late as two or three in the morning. After prom is a great way to avoid the sex situation.
Another idea is just to go home. You may want to head home after your prom. If you are satisfied with the evening, then say good night to your date and head home. On the other hand, maybe you want to keep the magic going for a few more hours. You may be able to make arrangements with your parents to have a few friends over to watch movies. With parents at home, it is highly unlikely that any sexual encounters will happen, but you still will be safe and happy together.
