@exacerbatedtaboo My point is that belief in any religious system leads to massive inaction. People that take part in it gain some false affirmation that they know ‘everything will be right with the world’ in the end and know exactly what will occur.
millions of dead jews…1 million dead iraqis… on and on…..oh it’s ok, my ‘God’ will make everything right in the end….there’s nothing I need to do…everything is happy and fine. Religion is the perfect form of total global control.

The birth parents, which through a series of mutations from another species, and this same process, all the way back to the culmination of amino acids into the first cell. those amino acids were in turn formed after a high level of energy was input to a system containing the base chemicals. those elements came from the expansion of a quantum singularity that becomes smaller as you go back in time.
So in essence all that was always was and all that ever will be will always be.

As much as I wish this were true, and believe me it would be awesome if it were, but lig refers to a binding, like the word ligature. An etymological search on the word lie will tell you that it comes from Old English and was something closer to lyge or legen. So religion would be closer to a state of rebinding, to tie anew, or something like that.
