I saw this anime on techtv when they had Anime Unleashed. They had a good list and range or anime during its run such as Geneshaft, Serial Experiments Lain, Crest of the Stars (first anime I saw on their channel), Silent Mobius, Gungrave, Gad Guard, Soul Taker, and I forget others probably because I missed them. The show is called Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi featuring a guy Imamiya Satoshi who doesn’t want his grandfather to die from an accident he witnessed and a girl Asahina Arumi who doesn’t want to move away. From what I recall one day everything around them looks like a drug trip and soon they are in the drug trip. This show has lots of anime references and genres in it either making fun of them or utilizing them for comedy purposes. Fair warning. Anyway enjoy the video and hope it conjures up good memories. Also warning this vid does have some sexual imagery but I don’t think I should make it 18 and up yet. If so then tell me because I don’t want to get booted off youtube. Also I did not make this video, instead this is a promo of the show. The song is Treat or Goblins by Megumi Hayashibara

otonanoC, you are unfairly criticizing azienroch. He never literally claimed that russell was searching for God, it’s just an analogy or a metaphor, as he clearly stated. You really need to understand context and subtle nuance of Language.
Principia Mathematica was definitely high on godel’s mind before he devised his two proofs. These two proofs were definitely godel’s answer in the negative to both hilbert’s and russel’s world views.

Gödel’s theorem is invoked daily on the net to support some claim, or just to whack people over the head with it as an argument from authority.
Gödel’s theorem doesn’t apply to truth, God, Bible, English language, constitution of USA, quantum mechanics, or anything other than formal systems. Why? Because the theorems concepts of “complete” and “consistent” are not formally defined in such contexts, and don’t involve any notion of truth or falsity.

Religion, in general, is slowly seeping away thru the cracks of reality as more and more people “snap” out of the illusions that they’ve been caged in for so long.
If ones conviction in their belief is so strong… then questioning it should be a simple affair… easily dismantled by firm evidence and answers.
Truly question your beliefs… challenge your doctrine and see how solid it’s foundation is.

I agree with that. What I meant to say was that people should not make wild conclusions based upon concepts that they simply do not yet understand.
If I should stick to talking about what I know well, then this video is just fine. If you don’t like how I’ve talked about it, too damned bad. Don’t even bother philosophizing about mathematics that you don’t understand. If you want to study mathematical concepts, do mathematics, otherwise you’re bound to form ridicilous conclusions. If you are going to philosophize, with the exploitation of mathematics, make sure that you are a sufficently skilled mathematician

I cannot prove that watching this video was not a waste of time.
At the end of this video, I made that “wooo” noise. You know, that noise that some black people make in the movie theater or on a talk show when someone just got pwned. That “Bruce Lee” noise. That “awe snap” noise, or that “I said I said God damn” noise when attempting to instigate something. Wow. I wrote alot, but said so little.
Still, if god exists outside of this, there is only state and no action possible. The only way to change this is to add extra time dimensions. If you add an extra dimension of time, it is now possible for a god to exist who is omnipresent with relation to us, but is now by definition limited because he is only capable of a finite view of his time. Any such god would therefore be by definition imperfect.
Thus we can show that if there is a god who is capable of creation, he must be imperfect.
You can add two subsets of dimension to this: space, which is recursive, and state – which represents dimensions if you count all possible permutations of potential states and the various ways of traveling between them.
If you now add another dimension of space so you have one of space and one of time, you have exactly what a turing machine is, infinite spacial states plus any number of states for each frame… and state is a function of time.
It is like a Turing machine with one frame and infinite colors. You can express any atomic fact no matter the complexity, but if there is no time for it to function relative to, that is all it is. just one atom in one state.
This is what it would be like if god were outside of time. There can be no creation, no existence, no decision, because nothing is computable. This Turing machine has no memory.
There seems to be a problem with an omnipotent god under many models of the universe.
Any system is always under a finite state unless it is as a function of time. Without time there can be no actions, only state. Even if that state is a superposition of all possible states, it is still just a state incapable of computation or decision unless time is stateful.
Assume time is zero dimensional, which it appears to be. Something with zero dimensions can have infinite states (or colors).
You just said it. “There is a truth that cannot be proven”. This is something assumed true in English. If a language can express that sentence, then it is effectively a possible axiom in the language which demands that there be such a truth. Since languages this complex are recursive, you can take and derive an infinite number of logically equivalent statements from this… even some that are logically identical but still very abstract in comparison.
Other languages have this same ordeal.

You want someone else to proof that to you?? Than you can wait forever.
But maybe you find proof if you start looking for it…somwhere…somehow.
Start reading books or pages in the internet, about pschology, Special education. Compare this to the words of loving your neighbour, loving you enemy and forgiveness…but than, that might never be proof to you. It might just show some basics about human beeing.
Maybe you find proof, when you start to look at your dreams…who knows?
