Question by BeachBoarder: Have you heard about or experienced any type of spiritual or energy healing?
I’m looking a lot into types of energies and healing. I’ve seen techniques ranging from using your own energy fields to summoning Jesus, etc. I want to try some of it myself but have my doubts.
What I want to know is, have you had any experience with spiritual, religious or energy healing? Do you know of any success stories or have any good resources?

The best you can do in this department is the placebo effect. Basically, if the patient believes he’s healing, that may have a meta-scientific effect on his body.
Heard of them, but I don’t think they actually work. It could act like the placebo effect.

yes i have. i personally do what’s called spiritual healing energy water color paintings. i use special drops that are holistic in nature to paint with. specifically for that illness. i actually do this for people too. the painting are abstract.

I thought so for a moment, then I got the doctor bill and the insurance company wouldn’t pay it. Sorry, I can’t prove anything.
People heal themselves. They call it the power of prayer, but its not. Its sheer will. Some people have it, some don’t. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I am a nurse. I saw a guy with brain cancer survive 8 years past when he should have been dead and he wasn’t even religious, he just was determined. I’ve seen both religious and non-religious people drop dead earlier than they should have because they just laid down and gave up. Your body is capable of some amazing things if you have the brain power to harness it, but its literally hit or miss.
after 42 years working in psychiatric nursing, i have never seen anyone healed beyond the usual remission of symptoms that would return in their usual pattern. and i have seen many sincere people offer time, love and prayer without result. there is no success in mental health, just reprieves
I have had only one experience with noncorporeal existence.
All I can tell you is that objects have no substance and look like vibrating blue dots when you look inside them.
Reiki works wonderfully, anyone who says it doesn’t has never experianced it.
My friend Sami slipped on the ice last winter and she hurt her wrist – she happened to be at an event with her youth group. She started crying and she thought it was broken. The youth pastor simply went over to her and put his hand on her hurt one and said “In the name of Jesus Christ, you are healed.” and her hand was immediately healed.
I call this a miracle from God. My husband has been in severe pain for three months with a bad torn rotor cuff, the only relief would be surgery he would be incapacitated for one year, 6 weeks of this not being able to move his shoulder at all. I have prayed and prayed to God, my husband woke up yesterday morning he was able to move his arm above his head, and continue to use his arm, he was due for surgery tomorrow,
