Question by Kevin S: How does a new age shop achieve its smell?
The aroma in a new age book store has to be more than incense, because burning incense at home usually means a smokey odor.
Besides incense, does any body know how the sweet, clean smell is achieved by these shops?
**(I think it was Dean Koontz who wrote something to the effect of it being Altoids & smudge sticks, but not sure. I tried that one but it didn’t prove to be more than a good yet fictional guess.)

I know a store that has the smell I think you’re talking about and they burn incense, but they also use a room spray with patchuli in it. I love that smell 🙂
