if you are realizing your vision at the very moment.
2. Self-Mastery
Self-mastery is nothing other than having personal discipline. By far, this is probably the hardest part of any person’s entrepreneurial journey. While your unconscious mind is being tricked to see your vision as reality, you will still have to follow through on actually doing the things that need to be done.
You need to have the discipline to fight laziness and procrastination, the discipline to fight fear and still take action. You see, the first person you will ever have to lead and manage is yourself.
Self-Mastery is accomplished by setting up an accountability system. First, you need to write down the things that need to be done. Then you need to have some way to ensure that you do them and to record your progress. Some people use must-do lists, calendar markings, digital notes… you just have to find something that works for you. In addition, it helps to have an accountability partner- someone who knows your goals and deadlines and isn’t afraid to call you out.
Self-mastery also includes making sure you keep your attitude and mindset going in the correct direction. This requires a constant stream of positive influence coming into your life. Whether it’s utilizing personal development materials or trusting in new friendships and relationships that give you a positive mental boost, you need to have positive things being put in front of you. You know the old saying, “Garbage In, Garbage, Out.” Well, that’s true for your mind as well. Don’t let your spirit and mind be a dumping ground. Eliminate the negative influences in your life (you can control most of these things).
