Question by megallicaxiii: How to deal with Thraximundar/ good cards for a treefolk/shaman deck?
Recently built a EDH deck with Sapling of Colfenor as my general. I currently only have a few ways to deal with my friends Thrax when it comes out but after it gains some counters I cant stop it. I was wondering what green and/or black card(s) would be good against Thrax.
Also if you have any suggestions for my deck please let me know, I am always open to new additions

Treefolk/Shaman decks are AWESOME!
I have only beaten my fiends Treefolk deck 1 or 2 times, and my deck is pretty good.
“Timber protector” is a MUST.
Also, think of changlings, they are all creature types.

If you’re blocking, Giant Growths or Might of Oaks will help.
If you want to remove Thrax, use a black sorcery called Soul Reap (I think thats the name.) It destroys a non-green creature, and if you already played a black spell that turn, your op. loses 3 life. Maybe a Lace with Moonglove isn’t bad either as it gives your creature Deathtouch.
