An atheist is a person without belief in Deity or deities. Archaically, a pagan is a peasant. In modern definition a pagan is a person with belief in multiple deities. InternetPastorTV twists definitions so that pagan means without belief and atheist means with belief when it suits him. Then he changes them back when that suits him. Wiccans, who are neo-pagan, are not the dark, scary people that InternetPastorTV makes them out to be. Because in the ancient world, there were as many views about life after death, as there are today. So it makes it all the more extraordinary that all the early Christians who we have evidence for, right through the first two centuries, all believed in the resurrection of the body. They say, how did that happen? They all say, well of course, because of what God did to Jesus. And that kind of crystallized everything. And so because they believed that Jesus had been raised from the dead, this forced them, if they would choose, to sharpen up their Jewish belief in resurrection. And it really has been sharpened up. wiccans are certainly not dark and scary. the ones i’ve run into tend to be a closer to crystal wearing hippies who hang out in the new age section in barnes and noble-pretty far from dark, evil scary knife-wielding baby-burners.

The early Christian also don’t believe in immediate judgment after death nor in immediate life after death. To the early Christians the dead are no longer aware of themselves, not able to remember God and can no longer register the passage of time.
Resurrection can only be expected in Christ second coming for those chosen and at the end of days for the rest of the people. read the bible.

Spiritual doesn’t mean not physical. In that passage he’s talking natural vs spiritual.
To me the Transfiguration that Jesus went through (mark 9) is a glimpse of what our bodies will be like after the resurrection.
Read 1 Corinthians 15:35-57 written by Paul. Paul doesn’t teach that the resurrected body is our physical body but it will something else. Something spiritual.
Rev Wright discusses Paul’s usage of the word and concept of the resurrection in his book The Resurrection of the Son of God (Christian Origins and the Question of God, Vol. 3)
He shows that no matter what others think of the resurrection, Paul thought and taught that it was physical.

Actually Paul wrote clearly that there will not be physical bodily resurrection. He emphasized that physical bodies will have no part in after life at all
