Question by Corey: Is mormonism pointing towards native american shamanism?
It’s like they are talking about people in america that were natives. Does this in any way relate to what is taught by those groups? Are there any links?

I’m native, but I’m Jewish.
What do you think? Answer below!
It has something to do with Baptists and their penchant for getting on all fours and whispering at the front of the altar.
I’ve asked Mormons and Baptists is they’d like to get together, but both groups are shy.
.
No
The native americans in Mormonism are jewish immigrants
according to the BoM, there were teo groups who made the trek, the jaredites (around the time of the tower of babel) and the nephites around 600 BC
at one time they taught that these groups accounted for every single american native pre-columbus (north and south america)
nowadays they have changed their belief because 1) that is obviously rubbish numerically and 2) that is obviously rubbish from mDNA research.
Nope
i’m native. i’m traditional. and NOTHING in my peoples’ stories or those of any other natives i know confirms what mormons believe. its simply not true.
and for the record we have no stories about white gods either. guess who made that crap up too.
