Jews have no concept of Hell whatsoever.
There is a place where souls are purified, and it’s not particularly pleasant, but the maximum time involved is 1 year.
The whole eternal torment in a place run by an evil demi-god is a bastardization of both Zoroastrianism and the Hellenic afterlife.
No the idea of tormenting and hell didn’t come into play until after about 530 BCE with the introduction of Greek philosophies.
