Question by Truth: Is this verse talking about physical or spiritual healing?
1 Peter 2:24 -KJV- Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
I thought this was about spiritual healing- our sins being wiped off because of Jesus’ wounds- being saved.
Then I heard many TV evangelists use this to speak about physical healing from sickness etc.
Kindly quote scriptures if possible.
Thank you.

Definitely spiritual…..>
Eventually physical as well, but not from sickness. But the wrath of God…. He took that punishment so you dont have to….>
it means both!!! Jesus was not just a miracle maker, doctor and counselor…he was ALL, duh. Christians think so deep they dont see the obvious…
Hello!
1. Spiritual Healing is when you get That Spirit that you were Born With—-ReCreated.
EveryBody is Born “Lost”. EveryBody is Born with a Messed Up Spirit (Dissconnected from GOD Almighty “Spiritually”)
When you do Romans 10:9 (and Mean It!), your Spirit WILL BE ReCreated, by The Holy Spirit, and YOU! (Male, Female, What-So-Ever!) WILL Become—a Child of GOD!!!, on Your WAY to Heaven!!! Thank You JESUS!!!
Quoted from Isaiah 53:5. You are correct – the TV pastor was wrong.
Isa 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
God made us perfect and He still sees us that way.
