Since astrology and crystal is related, I would like to ask anyone out there who has knowledge about crystal. My friend gave me a lovely kunzite pendant, which is about 3 inch length and nearly 1 inch width. I’ve been looking on the Internet to find some info about it. But most of the kunzite I saw was pink/light pink in color. This is quite confusing since my kunzite is lavender color.

My question here:

1) is there any difference between pink or purple kunzite? Especially when you talk about its metaphysical healing?

2) And which one is rarer and harder to find, the one with pink or purple kunzite?

3) Is is true that kunzite is suitable for someone who has emotional or manic problem? If it’s true, does it apply to all type color of kunzite?

Gems are often treated with heat, heated oils, radiation, etc in order to alter thier colouring…not typically done on gems that are rough.

Kunzite is a pegamite – so I could see it as occuring violet.
There would be no way to know for certain if it was treated, (well, you could have it looked at with a scope, but unless it was dyed, or heat/oil treated, you still wouldn’t know) unless it starts to fade….

Metaphysically, I would look at it as a stone that affects the heart and soul – it does seem to be a shade that is between pink and lavender….

I dont know about panic problems, but anytime someone has an imbalance, its a good idea to look at the heart….
