This is such an epic movie! I remember in high school when I wrestled, we would watch this movie over and over again and yes we were all dippin!….Good times!

What makes this one of the best movie beginnings is that it starts out with a blackscreen. The only sensation is the sound of the jump rope. The first time you see the movie, you aren’t sure what the jump rope sound actually is. Then, the opening strains to “Lunatic Fringe” fade in.
Then it dawns on you. You recognize the sound from your own jump rope sessions. Then the video fades in revealing Louden working out alone.
You need to add back in the opening 5 seconds of the flick.
Great movie but unrealisitc. Every match doesn’t end in a pin by throwing move. And no one wears singlets during practice. Whatever. They did it for dramatic effect.
No. No it does not. Seniors are generally born between September and July 18 years their graduating school year. Example: I turned 18 in February of my graduating year, my friend turned 18 in the very beginning of the school year (September).

Hey, some of our Captains wear their Singlets during practice. Even their kneepads while were outsde training.

I can’t recall a time that my wrestling coach ever wore a singlet during practice.
