The Ranger Prayer is the most powerful way that I co-create with the forces of Spirit and Nature. I was taught this by the Apache Medicine Chief Snowleopard, director of Search & Rescue International and Commander of the Alaska Airborne Rangers. This is a simple, powerful, beautiful, ancient ritual that calls in and gives thanks to the four directions, beings and forces of Nature and Great Spirit. Then you state your intention, breathe it into the blue corn meal or tobacco from your medicine pouch. Finally you place it upon the ground and say, “It is a good day to die.” and watch what happens. @Unityspirit50 The Apache were also renowned warriors. I would imagine every day was a good day to die if it meant dying honorably in battle.

Above is what I just wrote to someone else today that asked a similar question. Some of it may be useful, some of it may not apply to you.
For you I suggest you learn the Ranger Prayer. It comes from the ancient lost tribe of the Mequon, an elite band of Apache.
First and foremost and always… go straight to the Source, Nature or Great Spirit with all of your questions and concerns. LISTEN to their response and begin to DO whatever it is that the still small voice within says to do.
Yes, there is plenty that I’m willing to share.
Most important is to cultivate an ever-growing, ever improving communication n connection with the Divine- inside and all around.
Attain enlightenment, Oneness, etc. so that you may begin from there to fulfill ur Soul’s Destiny, your purpose and mission. Don’t delay. Do it today.

A beautiful and moving video, brother! I am a northern New Mexican curandero, and I walk with Bat Medicine – this is a wonderful blessing and prayer; thank you very much for posting it! I am constantly trying to find other followers of shamanic traditions with whom to discuss and share – do you have any advice to someone who is still relatively new to the Path?
This makes my urge to learn about the Apache side of my family even stronger. I want to fully embrace the native part of my culture as my way of life but I don’t know where to even begin. Would you be able to help me with any advice?

The best advice I can give you right now is to go directly to the Source. Engage the following four-step process:
1- give thanks
2- state your intentions, ask for what you wish, leave no stone unturned
3- let it go. trust that the highest good will come to pass
4- follow intuition, give special attention to auspicious and serendipitous or mysterious signs.
Tha language of spirit and nature is more subtle and more clever than conventional language. Look for your answers and guidance in nature.

I’m fascinated by Native American shamanism and spirituality (I’m also part Native American). I’ve been reading Carlos Castaneda’s books about don Juan and they have heightened my interests to new levels. I truly crave knowledge of my ancestry and of this mystical world in which we live. I’m fifteen years old and I want begin a journey to become a man of knowledge. Any advice?

First n foremost, go to Great Spirit. Give thanks. State intentions. Let it go. Give special attention to subtle signs wherever you go. My Apache teacher, Snowleopard, said to “Always seek the best instructor, and let him come to you.” Having Coyote Medicine is a blessing. Be proud of it and wear and share it wisely. Always be willing and able to laugh at yourself. That is one of the many gifts of Coyote. If you are unable to find an instructor, let me know. I’ll help you on the Path.
A very moving video. Do you have any recommendations for people looking to learn more about shamanism and its rituals? It’s a path I’m looking to walk, though I fear I may have trouble finding information on it, having white skin and having coyotes as my spirit guides.
