i am one of the few christians who practice magic. I can’t believe “christians” are killing children who are probably not even witches. If hell is real, i believe these “christians” are the first who will go there.
Concerning the control issues, I’ve started reading into the beginning of the Nicolatian doctrine, which according to the meaning of the word has nothing to do with Nicolas and everything to do with the Roman church order. The idea of pastors, bishops, or theologeans words being equal or above and deeper than that of the Apostles can be seen with the Latin Church Fathers. The way the “Church Fathers” established the imaginary division between laity and clergy reveals this doctrine quite well.

These are native, superstitious practices and dont reflect Christian beliefs. There is not an ounce of contextual scripture which can be used to justify these actions but these practices do have direct roots in the native villages. This stuff has been going on for years under the guidance of local shamans.
The controlling problems Shaz addresses which he sees as “Pentecostal” are actually Nicolatian and go across the board in terms of beliefs, belonging rather to a controlling spirit.
And the Nigerians who slaughter and abuse these children use Christianity and the Bible as their justification for not letting a Witch live. Had it not been for the hate against Witches in the Bible, would these kinds of things would be happening? Where do these people get the justification for their horrible acts?
As a Pentecostal myself, I wonder how those pastors sleep at night? They shouldn’t be killing innocent children. If they are possessed, they should be led to Christ and delivered, not set loose on the streets. But kids should be evaluated for other problems first.
This really pisses me off. Missionaries go into a place with a half assed gospel and don’t stay the course Act 20:27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. These people would not be suffering this evil if Scripture was taught expositionally
This should not be happening and it causes the name of LORD to be blasphemed amongst the unbelievers. They mock HIS name because of things like these.
The RCC did the same in S.America and it has caused grief there too.
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven…” Matthew 5:17
I do agree though that religious types charge into countries with missionary agendas (Africa has thousands of years of witchcraft tradition by the way…..you don’t get rid of that over night!) and then leave them to get on with living this new “religion” and i’d also like to point out that Jesus himself saved his strongest words against RELIGION!
i’d like to suggest that in Leviticus God was talking specifically to Moses and the Isrealites.
Today we live under the New Testament covenant, which Jesus set the example for. I’d doesn’t include killing witches!
Hey gold…check out an ex-witch (now Christian) explanation of this v. @ exwitch[dot]org. You will have to hoghlight the page though as it is dark background.

@BrotherMurray Good points about the native superstitions. I am Pentecostal myself so am especially saddened to see this happening under it’s banner.

Isn’t it ironic? The Muslims there are the sane ones. That’s why they control the country
These fundie atheists are really pissing me off. They are trying WAY too hard.
@MESSENGERFROMHEAVEN STFU idiot!

Religion….this is the real side of religion.
Exorcism is bullshit. Angels ,devils, demons and wiches are imaginary. Christianity is a superstition
I’d like to see the muslim nut cases from al- shabab chop Helen Ukpabio into little pieces and feed her to the crocs.

wrong about what?
Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law. Pretty clear your wrong.
Lovely accent.
