No, what’s truly childish is replying to a comment from six months ago. He is pitiful because he was for one, torrenting the game instead of buying, and two, failing at it. Support the developers before you cry about not being able to use it correctly. Also; maybe you should buy a dictionary because you can’t spell worth a damn.

@monkeyman1397 Or they otherwise have to unplug the receiver for their Media Center Remote or use the Device Manager to Uninstall “ITECIR Infrared Receiver” from “Human Interface Devices. It tends to interfere with Oblivions programming and this is all explained too on Oblivion wiki. But yeah what I just ellaborated is all you had to say, instead of calling someone pitiful. Truley ignorant and childish if you ask me. And I know your comments were quite awhile ago, but I felt you needed educated.

You’re degrading people out of ignorance you should seriously learned to be civilized and give a respectful reply to someone who’s having a problem, not call them pitiful. Further more I too have the TES 4 Game of the Year Edition and the tilde key doesn’t work. Most have to download the Ring of Console.

I use Vista, it works. Don’t be a tool. Instead of trolling Youtube pages, try googling the problem.

i had the windows vista- command problem until i downloaded the ring of console. works great. i read the problem has to do w/ windows media center

Monkey you are being an idiot when I first upgraded to Vista WITH MY VALID STORE BOUGHT OBLIVION THAT I USED TO PLAY ON WINDOWS XP, And got my new wireless mouse the tilde key would not open so stop being an asshole to him when you don’t know the real story.
@Napkin1991 If you’re using Vista, that’s probably the problem. For some reason, many Vista machines just won’t let you hit the ~; I think it’s something to do with the internal keyboard layout.

The tilde key or “~” doesn’t always open up the console command. There is a certain setting you have to change in order for the console to come up. I can’t remember exactly what it is but, if you idiots took the time to look it up I am sure you would save alot of time rather then ignorantly argue with this gentlemen who is sitting there telling you guys that isn’t working. I mean how pathetic are you people to go and judge, degrade and call people pitiful? If anything your attitudes are pitiful.
