As an atheist of Germanic descent I have a lot of respect for Asatru pagans, but a lot of “paganism” in this seems to be New-Age spirituality packaged as “pagan” that would make my pagan folk cry themselves back to death if they saw them
It’s sad that we as Americans in general remain so closed-minded to pagan faiths. We do everything we can to patronize the rest of the world by showing them how civilized we are concerning the acceptance of other races and religions in our society except for those called themselves pagans. Americans fought a civil war against the British because we were supposed to be pro-freedom of everything…. I guess history is not that accurate as I thought it would be. Pagans are not welcome here at all.
hey, interesting video…never knew things like this happened, my surenames pagan and still dont know to this day how come my family name was given to us….
Blackangel dresses for the fest the way she dresses every time I see her–she is gorgeous and creative in her every day clothing, so why try to look “normal”? What is “normal”?
I deeply respect American pagans, it must be so hard to live in a land with so much hatred and bigotry from the Christian fundie movement. May you all walk in love and light.
I’d love to attend one of the festivals in our state but they tend to be far away.
Pagans dress as varied as anyone else. If you saw me walking down the street you would never even think it, but then again for some of my friends people would say oh look a hippy chic she could be.
