Question by Savary: Are there any Wiccan’s, Pagan’s, or metaphysical people who live in Arizona, USA?
I would love to have guidance and better understanding please. I have been studying for about three years.
I also know the Bible, i grew up in a “christian” home. I don’t like forcing religion on anyone, I’m just here to learn. My beliefs are that if you are christian, Buddhist, or a basket worshiping person and that is what you believe to be real, then it is. It may not be my religion, but it must be real because that is what you believe, right? I think so.

Just because someone believes in something doesn’t make it real. I mean no offense but take for example I said I believed in pigs born with wings that can fly. Just because I said I believe in it doesn’t make it real because they aren’t real.

There are a number of pagans living in Arizona and around the nation. Being Wiccan myself, I can tell you that we are very real and we exist throughout the nation. I recommend that you pay a visit to the Witchvox website that lists thousands of active pagans in communities throughout the world. There are also radio shows that are strictly pagan and dedicated to subjects related to Wicca and the esoteric online as well.
Arizona has a large community of indigenous Americans. If you approach some as one who wants to learn and not one who wants to teach, you may learn enough to be surprised how narrow your concepts were before you asked.
Sedona is a real “new-agey,” metaphysical type place, but not so much Wiccan or Pagan. Some of the “new-agers” can be a tad of the fluffy side. 🙂
I’m in the Tucson area, and there’s a lot of activity
here… although of course Phoenix is much larger
and there is even more up there.
You don’t have to learn from someone in person
however… good books and websites can be found
that may be even more useful.
I will send you a link to the website for our temple
privately.. I think you will find it interesting.
Blessings,
Jean
TERRY gave good advice in that you should study ALOT in order to open your understanding. But VERY bad advice in one way, NDNs are not necessicarily wiccan/pagan. They may practice any religion as well as their own cultural practices. There is NOT one native spirituality. Navajo spirituality is very different from pueblan (Hopi/Tewa) and from Pai, and from Aathum, etc. “NAC” is a modern “pan NDN” religion.
Avoid “shaman” (SHAME MAN) they are offensive to NDNs. The desecrate shrines, interfere with ceremonies. They hold culturally inappropriate fake ceremonies.
NEVER pay for a “sweat”
Don’t ask an NDN, we blow off fake shaman all the time with fake stories and they believe us
Phoenix and Tucson have tons of REAL wiccan and pagan practicioners and tons of wannabes. Avoid the wannabes

To the left of the main screen it reads ‘your town,’ under U. States, click Arizona, then to the right of that screen under Groups/Organizations, click adult groups (or teen groups if you’re a teen). It’ll list areas of the state, so you can find what’s closest to you.
I live in a rural area in Michigan, and found a couple people of interest from this website. I will be introduced to more through the people I met here. This is your best bet, but please be careful when searching for Wiccans online. There are many guys who claim to be wiccan just to attend (possibly) sky clad rituals and check out the ladies. Also, some “Wiccans” are just freaks trying to be different and don’t truly walk the Wiccan path.
Blessed Be!
