Question by kevin: How do the words of Metaphysical and Chapel or Church go together?
I have seen some churches that are part of the United Metaphysical Churches Association. The Metaphysical Chapel of South Florida is in my area. I went to their website www.MetaphysicalChapel.com to learn more. What does the Bible say about psychics and mediums and metaphysical stuff? thus…how do they go “together”?

Not related at all.
Church comes from the greek word “Ecclesia”. This means called out ones. The Church represents those who have been called from spiritual darkness into the light of truth in Christ Jesus.
Romans 10:9
Exodus 20:8-11

In this world we seem to think that someone can be elevated to a grand
status by other people that have followed a similar path and declared
themselves to be properly trained and empowered. Main stream religion
has produced thousands of priests, preachers, ministers, bishops and
etc., most of them claiming to be appointed by a Godly power.
They stand before you and perform rituals and spout stuff they have heard
repeatedly since infancy. Not many miracles are performed except in
churches where the hysteria level is very high.
Now there are a few places where for twenty five dollars you can buy
a document that proclaims you to be a reverent individual and empowers
you to perform weddings and whatever rites you deem appropriate,
without jumping through hoops to please other “authorities” for several
years. You might not be as smooth talking, but you enjoy the same
legal status. And it is [possible that you may actually even have a gift
to share with others. Mediums and other psychics can sometimes
spark peoples imaginations and help them get over rough spots in their
lives. Like other preachers, some are real and some are phonies
just drawing a pay check.
You benefit, if you think you do..
