Should I just put water in my backpack and walk out to find a spot where I can just sit for 2 days away from the noise to just think?
I hate going through life without a purpose.

Hm. Well, if you’ve researched the methodology, and you’re
quite sure that particular method is what you need…then I’d
say “go for it”.
The only thing(s) I’d bring up would be contingency type stuff.
For if you’re by yourself…you’d want some folks to know about
where you’re at and about when you expect to be back. There
are such things as “sink holes” and they can appear anywhere.
Just use some good, old “horse senxe” in your prep.
