Question by George: What are the two best professions for a Dranei Shaman in Wow?
I have a dranei shaman (enhancement) in my wow account and I want to find out what are the two best professions for him. From what I have seen in the internet, mining is good because it gives you extra stamina. On the other hand, I hear that jewelcrafting is very expensive to upgrade it. What is your opinion? I definitely want a gathering and “crafting” profession. Please tell me what you think.

Tinkering for the first one. Clocks are good so you always know the time. And also club owner. That way you will have a steady flow of gold heading your way. Also, your welcome for these pro tips.

if you want your professions to make you gold only?
Herbalism and mining
Just flowerpick/mine
and sell it all on the auction house
its a gold mine for your char
its extra running around, not no gold worries
Mining and Engineering are good ones. All the BS and LW epics at 80 right now are all BoE, so not much gained for making them when you can just buy them at the AH. Eng has some pretty useful stuff still that are exclusive to engineers only.
First you have to ask yourself what you want to do at endgame. Jewel crafting is one of the best for any class/race combo. It is also incredibly expensive. I had to have spent 3-4k leveling it on my paladin. This profession is great because its great in both PVP and PVE, unlike herbalism which does nothing for either. I would say go mining and jewel-crafting until 80, use mining as both a source of income, and something to level your jewelcrafting. Once you get to 80, you can make some money, then powerlevel blacksmithing or another profession, like engineering or enchanting. Enchanting is always good at 80.
Another great option is to get Skinning (gathering) and Leatherworking (crafting). You will get wearable leather and mail armor up until level 70. If Gold is not a problem for you, consider dropping Skinning at the end-game and replacing it with Engineering for one of the best PvP items.
But if this is your first character, then you might be better off starting with Skinning and Mining (double gathering) to save up on WoW Gold then drop one or both at the end-game for crafting professions for their raid and PvP perks.
Honest speaking?this is really personal preference for what you wish to accomplish.
If you want a traditional profession and the supporting one I think I would choose Herbalism and Alchemy.
If you wish to make money off your professions with no spending, pick 2 gathering professions.
