erm it doesnt, the manga has significat changes in comparison to the anime you have o start from page one of the manag matey i did the same thing. and alot of the charicters have differnt names in the manga
What do you think? Answer below!
it will be bad if you just continue since they both are completely different. In the manga, there are like a billion more characters and it’s pretty much completely different from the anime so i suggest u read the whole manga all over again…but read the old manga and the new manga at the same time. You must be like: Huh? New Manga?. Well, basically the creator of Shaman King created the manga ALL over again because of the dissapointing ending. The new manga is called Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang.
All you have to do, as i said, is read the manga again all over from the beginning with the old and new manga. You will be confused if you don’t. While you’re reading go to this site as well
http://mankin-trad.net
this site is the providor of Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang in english and other languages too. You will see that they only put some of the chapters. This is because the rest of the chapters is the exactly the same as the old manga.
You would be able to read Shaman King and the Kang Zeng Bang in this site below (mankin trad doesn’t have the most of the old chapters…only new) But since the chapter numbers are mixed up with the Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang chapter numbers go to Mankin Trad to see what Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang chapter you have to read instead of the old manga of Shaman King.

Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang is pretty new actually. It released 1 or 2 years ago and finished of this year. The translators are nearly complete with the translations. Also, the Funbari no Uta (short manga which shows the characters grown up) is also made all over again although Mankin Trad hasn’t translated that yet. The art has also improved…alot! ^__^
I hope you didn’t get too confused with my crappy explanations
Sorry, but the anime and manga have significant differences, you’ll just have to read the manga from the beginning, otherwise you’ll lose a lot of the experience.
