Shabbat Prayer, take 1

I had seen Ramjet comment on Yahoo! 360that Tevye from “Fiddler On The Roof” was one of her heroes; years ago I was in a production of “Fiddler”, and my favourite piece from it is “Shabbat Prayer”. I decided to record myself singing it, which proved too ambitious to attempt the entire song, but I got a little bit in. I threw in the blessing of the candles at the beginning, which, not being Jewish and having only the slightest familiarity with Hebrew(mainly from metaphysical studies), I am certain I massacred. The plat and I will, at some point, attempt a complete recording. The images used are by Marc Chagall.

Louise also delved into eastern philosophy and metaphysical studies, and a personal health scare was a major turning point for her. Late one night in Feb’07, she woke and sat bolt upright in bed, picked up a pen and over the next 4-5 hours information streamed through.
