Tarot as game or later on when used for divination is a European invention of divination really, Gyspy (people Europeans thought came from Egypt but really came from India ) or Ancient Egyptians really had nothing to do with tarot as you stated!
In europe the tarot games still live on.
it is a very ancient and difficult game.
The trumps play a major role in the game, so the playing cards definetelly include the trumps.
The decks vere only used for divination from the 18th century mainly in english speaking countries where these games are unknown.
oops, posted previous comment on wrong vid. It might be good if you would post this one as a response to that “origins of tarot cards” by monte4amy. You should get more views for your videos.
And you even pronounced “tarocchi” properly!! Excellent! Whether people play games or read the cards, It’s always good when the true history comes forward. I agree, Robert Place is a very good tarot history author.
