i agree the mind can control the things we receive although our beliefs are usually controlled by the thoughts of others as we were growing up, which have shaped our self-beliefs.
embracing our humanity is about liberating our minds from all negative outside influences and illegitimate control over our beliefs, then we can focus on the things that WE want in our lives 🙂

I want to add that although I criticized this video, I have already given 5-star ratings to several of Empathic Amanda’s videos and I think Amanda and Chris are GREAT………….!!!!! And I mean REALLY great….!!!! I give my critique totally as Friend, not Foe…!!!
I find the anecdotal messages relating to cheating in marriage to be a bit odd here, especially in relation to a polyamorous perspective. Cheating is not “okay”, because it is deceptive. I didn’t cheat and was rarely cheated on as far as I know, but now that I am polyamorous I have a problem with the presumption that a person cheating is always the cheater being the total bad guy or gal. Maybe an over-controlling spouse made the person feel afraid to be honest due to emotional blackmail.
It’s frightening and so true! And it doesn’t change until awareness comes and that’s even scarier because awakening to to reality is not a given. Good video. Thanks for uploading it!
