Question by Hawk420: Think of your favorite bands. Is your favorite album always the first one that you listened to?
For instance, My favorite Death Cab for Cutie album is ‘Transantlanticism,’ but they have many albums that I like. I just think I like ‘Transantlanticism’ the most because it was the first album I heard.
Same goes with ‘BloodSugarSexMagik’ by The Red Hot Chili Peppers, ‘Yield’ by Pearl Jam, and ‘Houses of the Holy,’ by Led Zeppelin. These albums might not be considered the best by critics, but they were the first albums I heard from these bands and I guess I have an emotional attachment to them. Does this happen with anyone else? Give examples…

Yeah, I suppose so.

With Avenged Sevenfold, the first album I listened to is their newest, and I like it the best.
Aided, I first listened to Conviction and that’s my favourite.

Three Days Grace? One-X was my first listened to, and it’s my favourite.
No. Bright Eyes is my favorite band and the first album I heard was “The Story Is In the Soil… Keep Your Ear to the Ground.” But now my favorite is definitely “Fevers and Mirrors.” Although they are all brilliant.
