FIRST: Not ALL Mayan history was destroyed. Much of the codex for their writing was, but through the efforts of many scolars over hjundreds of years the Calendar can now be decoded to a great degree. Also, Maya is not the only society whose esoteric myth points to December 2012 prophetically. There are many other cultures that do so. Finally, there is no “Mayan Prophecy”. There never was.
