This has NOTHING to do with “World of Warcraft”. -_-
Anyways, i know some shaman can see the future, all of them can see spirits, etc. What other abilities can or do they have?

A real Shaman must be able to change into a tiger on demand.
If he refuses then he is certainly a fake.

If you believe in them Shamans can do the following:
1. The shaman can communicate with the spirit world.
2. The shaman can treat sickness caused by evil spirits.
3. The shaman can employ trance inducing techniques to incite visionary ecstacy.
4. The shaman’s spirit can leave the body to enter the supernatural world to search for answers.
5. The shaman evokes animal images as spirit guides, omens, and message-bearers.
6. The Shaman can preserve tradition by storytelling and songs.
7. The Shaman can act as “mediators” in their culture.
8. The Shaman can cure the infertility of women.

Firstly, I’d like to address the answer by “Cyndy E.” Shamans aren’t like Santa… you don’t believe in them or not. You may not believe that they have the abilities or skills they have, but then again, I might not really believe you can do something you tell me you can do.
Now… I’ve borrowed the list already used reiterated some of it and clarified where I could.
We can and do communicate with the spirit world,
treat sickness caused by evil spirits (allow me to clarify… Evil Sprit: viruses, bacteria, etc… we’re healers.)
We can use trance inducing techniques to incite visionary ecstacy.
We can and do leave our bodies to enter the supernatural world to search for answers to many different questions or problems like advice on how to best heal a patient, help in finding the diagnosis, advice and learning from ancestors and predecessors.
The shaman evokes animal images as spirit guides, omens, and message-bearers. Yes we do… and we can also shapeshift. Perhaps not as literally as in the movies, but in a spiritual fashoin we will take on an animal body and mind in order to learn and gain new and useful experiences.
The Shaman can preserve tradition by storytelling and songs.
The Shaman can and do act as “mediators” in their culture we also often act as the judge in our communities’ court. Just as I do in my Circle.
The Shaman can cure the infertility of women and also in men and animals.
