The powers of shamans in tibet and especially Mongolia are beyond myth, they are a hugely respected part of the community still.
However for myth information the powers would be the same as they are for general shamanic stuff, being able to travel to other planes in order to gain knowledge for the good of the community. Being able to communicate with spirits and otherworld helpers for healing of individuals and community.
It is said that a Shaman walks with one foot in this world and one foot in the other world 🙂
