I saw that on youtube. Shamans can tank in heroic dungeons because shamans wear the plate. Is it good idea when make tank shaman? I have 2 80s priest and warlock.

Shamans can’t tank in any dungeon effectively as they only wear mail, and none of their gear has +def on it.
A druid is good for single target tanking with a steady DPS output. Druid tanks will often do more damage than their warrior counterparts. To balance this out though, druids require more healing as they generally have less defense and HP.
A warrior is a superior tank for single targets dealing physical damage. Their plate armour mitigates a large amount of damage, and their defense and large HP pools mean it is easier for a healer to keep them alive. Their abilities also provide excellent debuffs on bosses and buffs on raids. They tend to take more damage from magical attacks.
A pally is the master of multiple mob tanking. They have an AOE holy attack and an ability that double threat caused by holy attacks, meaning they can effortlessly hold the aggro of multiple mobs while DPS burn them down. They also bring excellent buffs to the raid.
A DK is superior fighting mobs/bosses who use magic as their primary attack. The DK auras and talent tree specialisation means that they take less damage from magical attacks and can also shield their allies from magical damage. They rely on parry as their main form of physical attack damage mitigation, so they are not ideal tanks for end game physical encounters, though I have raided with a DK main tanking all of Ulduar, so they are capable of it.

Ok,
1. Druids are the main hybrid class apart from shamans in the game. They can Tank, Heal, Melee Dps or Spell Dps. They can fulfill any part of a group. They make excellant tanks in Dire bear form. Most average geared druid tanks have health over defense, making them very hard to kill backed up by a healer.
2. Warrior can tank or DPS. If you wana melee dps, go warrior cause they are the highest melee damage output class in the game. they make good tanks with a good balance of health / defense. although they are let down since they are a pain to level, and can also be VERY boring.
3. Paladins, in my view make the best tanks. They can heal,, tank, or melee dps They have excellant tanking abilioties, and a spell named rightoues fury which increasees threat by 80%. They have abilities which pull a whole group all together. Very good for tanking.
3. A dk is the jack of melee. He can tank, although not ery well at the moment. He is mainly used for DPS, With high amounts of damage and a high amount of self healing through blood tree. Unholy at the moment is a great for pvp. Raise allies, slow attackers, grab attackers from afar….. Op lol.
haha, a tank shaman….. Never, shamans do not wear plate, they wear mail and have a shield. You would need a high amount of defense, and i do not advise this as the shaman class is great for healing and melee dps. Stick with druid warr or pally for tanking 🙂

A lot of people don’t realize that there are some amazing tools out there to help you build up your World of Warcraft account. It doesn’t matter if you are looking to level up faster or if you are trying generate gold to buy new elite armor.
Warriors and Pallies are the two best tanks. Druids are OK. Dks fail at tanking.
