I started collecting penguins in my early 20s and had over 150 when my mother went to a shaman in Washington state and she said she had two daughters but wouldn’t tell him anything about us. He gave her a stone for each one, and said your eldest is a penguin child, and your youngest is a bat child. and she nearly passed out cuz at the time my sister was collecting bats. Who doesn’t believe in native american indian shamans now? my mother is roman catholic btw
why is it bad luck to speak of my penguin addiction?

Its bad luck to talk about your power animal.
If you talk about your power animal, spirit guide, in public it can offend the spirit and will abandon you.
Time spent with your guide is very sacred, and the sacred isn’t discussed, especially not on public message boards.
Thats what I was taught.
Its part of walking in right relationship.
