Night Angel,
This is a beautiful video, and gives alot of valuable info on this Sabbath 🙂
Thank You
BB
This video is as lame as the paganistic and wiccan rituals it represents!
I think your video is fine Nightangel. You can do a seperate one for the Norse Yule if you like, but if I were you I’d keep this video up too. I like it^_^
It may take me awhile though, because I’m usually quite busy during this time of year.
Since there is a big debate about the correct information about the video on the holiday of Yule, I will redue the video and actually take the time to research a lot more, and use more Norse sources. I do apologize for taking the lazier route to make this one video.
I can’t blame them. I mean they were probablly petrafied of what might happen if they were caught even discussing the old ways. I haven’t looked much into Norse practices, but they seem interesting.
well, you’ve got one thing right there; history insofar as the old ways are concerned are very difficult to portray accurately. Many of the crusades conducted by the catholic church last millennium were centered on obliterating the old ways. It wasn’t until recently that people tried to reconstruct them based on old stories and traditions that were rooted in pagan legend. The few religions that remained untouched, mostly, were those of the Norse. They refused to abandon everything.

I wish people would get their facts straight = Yule is a 12-day (or 8 days, depending on which region one lived in) holiday, which began celebrating Odin’s wife and all mothers (it was called Mother’s Night). Though Winter Solstice happened during this holiday, it wasn’t centered completely on it.
The Norse/Germanic holidays were about their gods, their ancestors, and themselves; not this neo-pagan nature stuff.
And please, don’t take it upon yourself to define things for the masses.
its fine! it gets the idea across to those who may be unfamiliar with such ancient mysterious things.
This is Fluffy Bunny wussy Wicca junk. Research the real Yule.
It’s sad the bastardization of such a great holiday comes from people that are supposed to cherish it.
I know but just like with my What is Wicca video, I had a lot of information with so little time. I originally made the video for the song and it evolved into an informational video
Great vid, except that the words go a little too fast. I had to keep pausing it to read.
5 Stars and in my playlist. :o)
Thanks so very much for sharing and may you and your loved ones have a very Merry Yule!
Blessed Be.
