It’s a smoky quartz crystal with a vein of amethyst. It’s beautiful and I love it.

Amethyst: receptive and attuned to the element of water. Amethyst is believed best for dreamwork, inner healing, psychic awareness, courage and harmony.

Amethyst is a purple quartz, so it is often found with smoky quartz.

Smoky Quartz is also recpetive. It elevates mood while keeping you grounded and centered. Its good for combatting depression, meditating, angel work, and battling unwanted emotions.

Together, they are great for working on your inner self and healing your mental self.

Many use amethysts for dream recall. I love smoky quartz because it provokes a feeling of mystical peace within me.

However, any stone can be charged and used as you wish.

Hold the stone in your less dominate hand (so left hand if you’re a rightie) and concentrate on the stone to feel the energies glowing from the stone and up your arm. Hold the stone in your dominate hand to charge it. To charge, focus energy (or qi) and intent into the stone.
