Question by Ignacio: What PROFESSIONS should I take with my enhancment shaman.?
Hi, I have lvl 80 Enhancment shaman, and i was thinking of taking;
Blacksmithing and minning, but i heard that the things you could craft were very bad compared to BC, i was wondering will there be a patch with more and better weapons and armor.
If not should i take cloth working for mail.
or some other combination.

I would probably just go for mining/skinning for money-making, you would be amazed how much others will pay for things that you can gather so easily.

If you aren’t worried about your gear, I would suggest herbing/alchemy. Being able to make your own potions is a HUGE bonus in the higher levels, and all higher levels use them, so you can make a ton of money selling the ones you don’t want to use.
It’s highly doubtful you’d be able to craft yourself anything useful armor wise as a blacksmith. As for weapons, the only good one as a starter right now is one of the Titansteel weapons, which you’ll easily replace or have possibly already gotten a better weapon.
I would say Herbalism/Alchemy or Mining/Jewelcrafting would be good choices. Both great money makers. If you’re really looking to craft yourself some armor, you could take Skinning/Leatherworking, but all of their stuff is BoE so you could just buy it rather than make it.
As for a patch with better crafted weapons and armor, possibly, as Blizzard has done it in the past multiple times, but I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Just do some instances/heroics to start off with and you’ll get all the gear you need
It matters on what spec you want to play. Lw/skinner is a safe way to go due to u can make armor for all 3 spec. You can make weapons and some armor yes but if you’re going to run around as a medic or a caster then you would be wasting your time and money. There is no reason why you should make a weapon like a bad ass epic dragon maw or some other weapon if you your going to be healing the main tank, or playing elemental god. Now if your enh and saying that way then it would be great for you. But that’s if our going to make it your main spec and not the other 2.
if you want to make money, then do mining and skinning.. I recommend inscription and herbalism, thats what i do and i love it. Enchanting is probably the most wanted and useful profession, and a lot of people will pay for enchants.
