Question by perris: Whats in a name anyway? What is a possible SPIRITUAL/METAPHYSICAL relation to this?
So this is pretty crazy but in my life whenever I have a romantic choice i am faced with same first names. for example, when i met my exbf joe, there was another guy interested in me named joe. with my other exbf anthony, same thing happened. now with this guy i’m seeing, his name is dan, and i had to decide between another dan that was interested in me. do you also see the pattern? i am intrigued by the interest level/time correlation in my romantic endevaurs… whats your take on it? why might this be happening?

i do not endorse mysticism, but according to the kabbala, a person’s name IS the person. not that everyone with the same name has an identical personality, but i think they probably have some likenesses. you may also have noticed that there are people with certain names you generally don’t get along with well also.
